The war of words between Ravi Shastri and Sourav Ganguly hogged all the attention after Anil Kumble was appointed as Head Coach of Team India. Now, The issue has taken an unexpected turn with allegations of Conflict-of-Interest over Kumble's elevation to the Top Post.

Reportedly, BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) Member VVS Laxman holds a major stake in Anil Kumble's company. Laxman is one of the members who interviewed Kumble for the Coach job. Did the business partnership played a role in the Leg Spinner's appointment as Team India's coach for next one year?



As per sources, Laxman currently holds 33,332 shares in Kumble's Bengaluru-based firm Tenvic Sports floated in the year 2011. The shares of Laxman doubled from 16,666 (in 2011) to 33,332 (by 2012) within just one year even though he paid a nominal amount.

How would BCCI resolve the fresh controversy? Will this conflict of interest have an impact on Kumble's appointment?
