AP CM Chandrababu Naidu found fault with a section for bad propaganda over his foreign tours.

Speaking to journalists at the Camp Office, Chandrababu Naidu explained: 'If I visit Singapore or Asthana, Few Media Houses keep publishing reports that I'm trying to create replicas of Singapore and Asthana in AP. I needn't go anywhere if our agenda is to build a 'Slum' City. I have toured Russia with the sole intention of building a Worldclass Capital. I can't help if reporters lack the maturity to understand the necessity of these foreign tours. When Shamshabad airport was constructed, I visited 5-6 best airports and suggested GMR to built it in such a manner. When I planned to develop Hyderabad, I toured USA for about 15 days. I made L&T change the design of Hi-Tech City 20 times and hence it stood as a monument. So far, Architects have built buildings but not a capital city. So, We are holding talks with as many people as possible for the best designs'.

The Muslim scholar of international repute, Zakir Naik, hoped the Indian government would soon lift ban on his Peace TV.
Naik heads the Islamic Research Foundation that owns Peace TV. The channel has a substantial viewership in the Middle East and African countries and which operates from Dubai.
The Indian government's Intelligence Bureau had red-flagged Peace TV among 24 foreign channels for allegedly broadcasting anti-India programs "not conducive to the security environment in the country.”
Naik rejected the accusations as unfounded and said a stay order was granted by the Supreme Court during the tenure of India's former Chief Justice Altamas Kabir. The order was later revoked by his successor. However, he expressed hope of a "positive decision soon."

On Sunday, a 35-minute-long audio recording of two interviews of Islamic televangelist Zakir Naik by Times Now surfaced on YouTube. A voiceover that prefaces the video alleges that the journalist Megha Prasad was “very objective and fair” in the first interview but changed her tone of questioning in the second under pressure from “superiors”.

The first interview begins with a request from Prasad to Naik answer honestly. In reply, Naik requests the journalist to use his replies “in the full context, without editing.” Over the next seven questions, Naik speaks freely. The second interview is distinctly combative in contrast. Naik quickly gets annoyed by Prasad’s prodding questions. He says at one point, “You asked me the same question the first time, and you, very nicely, heard the answer. And that interview was very nice. The second time, why are you interrupting me?” Later, he says, “First time you gave me the complete opportunity to speak. If you want I can send you the complete recording. I have it on my mobile.”

On 7th July, the channel ran a small part of the first phone interview. Sources in the channel have confirmed that there was a technical glitch, which is why only a portion could be used. However, this doesn’t explain why a second interview was conducted and why it wasn’t carried. The full audio recording of the two interviews surfaced on YouTube on July 10, three days after Times Now aired its interview. Since then, Naik’s supporters have been sharing it on social media and alleging that the second interview was necessitated because of pressure from Prasad’s “superiors”.

He said it was a remarkable and historic judgment and the Supreme Court has resorted a government in a State after it had been replaced by a new government. The Supreme Court had given a similar judgment in the past dismissing President's Rule in Uttarakhand to restore constitutionally elected Congress Government. "Both the judgments of Supreme Court have proved that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government has misused its powers to dethrone constitutionally elected governments. Modi should resign from his post owing moral responsibility," he demanded.
