After forming the Government, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao conducted an intense Household Survey all over Telangana to make sure only the deserving people receive the benefits of welfare scheme introduced during his rule. Now, His Andhra Pradesh Counterpart walks in the same path.
Today, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched Smart Pulse Survey which is more or less similar to the Household survey conducted in Telangana. 'This is historic. Government is making an effort to know about the caste, religion and financial position of each and every family in the state,' he declares.
The Smart Pulse Survey will last for six months. About 30,000 Volunteers will be participating in it to collect the data. Each of them would cover 15-20 houses per day. State Government will issue an eight number 'Zipper Code' to each Household after conducting this survey.
Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao assured that people needn't feel insecure and the survey is just an exercise for taking welfare schemes to the needy people.
