President Pranab's Convoy met with Accident

President Pranab Mukherjee's convoy met with an accident while on its way to Bagdogra Airport from Darjeeling Hills Today. This incident happened during President's 3-day visit to Darjeeling Hills.

Reportedly, One of the escort vehicles lost control all of a sudden on the hill road and went down by a long distance. Luckily, All the six security personnel in the ill-fated vehicle got away with minor injuries.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's convoy was following President's convoy  at the time of accident. Soon, CM and her security personnel swung into action to help the injured by dropping ropes.



Mamata Banerjee conveyed to President Pranab over phone that all of the security personnel were safe and asked him not to worry.
