AP Chief Chandrababu Naidu expressed his anguish over the nominal support from Centre in the past two years.

Speaking to party activists at Visakha Port Kalavani Auditorium, CBN said: 'Both Telugu States should try to resolve the issues related to bifurcation, else Centre need to intervene and even Supreme Court ruled the same. Even two years bifurcation, Issues were still pending. Centre granted Rs 4,800 crore out of Rs 16,000 revenue deficit. Central and Tribal Universities haven't be arranged, Only Rs 800 crore was granted for Polavaram project. No decision has been taken on Visakha Railway Zone. Neither there are incentives for Industries nor sanction of funds for Capital construction. Centre have the responsibility to implement all those promises included in AP Reorganization Act 2014 and hold AP's hand until development happens on par with neighboring states'.

When TDP MPs conveyed to him about the injustice is being done and the necessity to target the NDA Government, Chandrababu Naidu suggested them to wait for some more time as breaking the alliance with BJP will do more damage to the state. He might take a call on whether or not to continue friendship with BJP a year before 2019 elections.
