KTR to be made External Affairs Minister

TRS Governmnet is keen to introduce an exclusive NRI Policy soon to look after the welfare of Telangana settled in foreign countries. State Government will be following the Kerala model by appointing a Minister to take care of foreign affairs.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is mulling to name his son KTR as the first ever 'External Affairs/Foreign Minister' of Telangana.



In a recent meeting, K Taraka Rama Rao announced that draft of Telangana's NRI Policy has been prepared and it would be finalized in a meeting on July 16th.

As of now, KTR holds portfolios such as IT, Industries, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) and Commerce. He would also be handling External Affairs ministry soon.
