Gone are the days where piracy used to happen after the film hits in a theatre. These days digital copy of the film is leaking out from producer's office or Censor board prior to main release itself.
After films like Great Grand Masti and Sultan have fallen victims for such happenings, here in South we've "Kabali" Tamil version leaked online much before the release. Talking about the same, producer has confirmed that Kabali got leaked but authorities are already working out to remove links from online.
Meanwhile Censor Board chief Pankaj Nihlani felt that Censor board has nothing to do with this leak though their name popped up in earlier leaks of Hindi films. As investigations are going on, he says, 'For biggies like Sultan and Kabali, even piracy doesn't affect revenues".
Anyway, these kind of piracy leaks do kill a film if its not a hit.
