Twist in Rape case against Actor

Odia Actor Tatwa Prakash Satapathy aka Pappu Pom Pom has been facing Casting Couch allegations. He was accused of sexually exploiting a Minor Girl promising her a film offer.

Twist in the tale came in the form of petition filed by Victim's Father seeking quash of the case. On Monday, The Girl's Father moved an affidavit in the District Court stating both the families have reached a comprise and hence the case can be dismissed without further hearings. Court told the next hearing of the case will be on July 11th.

Earlier, An organization named 'The Friends Foundation' filed a complaint in the women's commission against Tatwa Prakash Satapathy on behalf of the minor girl. Later, Child Welfare Committee directed the cops to book a case. A case under Sections 354 (A), 506, 509, 34 of IPC has been booked against the accused. Tatwa Prakash Satapathy has gone underground to avoid getting arrested but he was nabbed by cops on June 30th. Bail petition of the accused will comes up for hearing next Monday.



Tatwa Prakash Satapathy is the MLA Candidate of ruling party. There are allegations of the Actor using his political influence to walk free.
