Fans might have clapped & whistled watching mass dialogues & gestures of Mammooty's character Zachariah in his recent release 'Kasada' but Women's Commission raises objection.
In one particular scene, Mammooty grabs a female IPS Officer by the belt and threatens to make her miss her menstrual cycle. Widespread criticism on the movie prompted Women's Commission to watch it and subsequently notices were served.
The Women's Commission issued a notice to the Mollywood superstar, Film's Director Nithin Ranji Panicker and Producer Alice George. It also sent a notice to the Censor Board asking it not to allow the content which insults or demean womanhood.
Women's Commission advised Mammooty who enjoys a huge fan base to stop taking up such roles.
