For the second time in a span of two days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the atrocities on Dalits across the country. He disapproved self-styled Cow Protestors, Caste Discrimination, Attacks on Muslims and Dalits.

Describing attacks on Dalits as a threat to humanity during the meeting in Hyderabad, Narendra Modi commented: 'If you want to target Dalits, Attack Me First. If you want to open fire at Dalits, Shoot Me first. With such kind of attacks, Nation won't forgive us'.

Last month, Four Dalits were harassed by Cow Rakshaks in Gujarat. This video went viral, leading to a Nationwide uproar. Narendra Modi's silence over the issue came under criticism and Opposition Parties alleged that its like allowing the anti-social elements to take law into their hands. This development irked the NDA Government ahead of Assembly Polls in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
