The pressure kept mounting on BJP after the speech of Arun Jaitley in Rajya Sabha over according AP with Special Category Status. All the parties in Andhra Pradesh lambasted the Union Government led by Narendra Modi for cheating Telugu People. Protests have been launched and Bandh Calls were given to expose the injustice being done.

Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Monday spoke to PM Narendra Modi over phone to explain the situation in AP. He cautioned Modi that the growing gap between TDP & BJP is a dangerous sign. He also asked PM to fulfill the promises of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 as early as possible. It is learnt that Modi enquired with Venkaiah Naidu about the aspects discussed with Chandrababu Naidu in their last meeting.



Meanwhile, AP BJP unit chief Kambhampati Haribabu continued to assure Centre will surely do justice to the state. 'Centre has been taking all the measure to safeguard the interests of AP. Bandh Calls will cause more damage  to the state,' warns the Visakha MP
