NRI Sridhar Dogiparthy received a phone call on January 29th this year from Nayeem's close aide Paasam Seenu asking him to meet the Gangster. Sridhar got into a vehicle at Sai Baba Temple in Bhuvanagiri. Driver Kattula Jangayya, Paasan Seenu and few Bhuvanagiri-based politicians were already waiting for him in that vehicle. Soon, They took away Sridhar's cell phone and search if he is carrying any fire arms. After offering prayers at few temples, A cloth was placed on the eyes of Sridhar so that he can't figure out the route they were travelling. Sridhar was taken to a guest house were two gunmen's holding AK-47 took him to Nayeem's room.
Nayeem asked Sridhar if he had recognized him. Sridhar replied, 'Yes, You have come to my father 28-years-ago'. Then, Nayeem enquired about his Father. To which, Sridhar answered that he had passed away 5 years ago. Then, Nayeem told that Sridhar's Father is a brave man and didn't succumb to his pressure when he was a Student Leader.
Therafter, Nayeem has come to the point and asked to pay Rs 2 crore else threatened to harm his Brother-in-Law. Sridhar asked: 'Are you joking?'. Then, Nayeem questioned, 'Do you find my warning a joke?' and given a brief narration about the number of murders in his account. Sridhar offered to pay Rs 10 lakh but Nayeem fixed Rs 50 lakh as the final price. On February 20th, Sridhar paid the amount to Paasam Seenu.
