How Sachin & Kangana slammed Shobha De? | Andhra news daily

Noted Columnist & Novelist Shobha De sparked a row with the Tweet insulting the Indian contingent for Rio Olympics 2016 after no medals have been bagged. 'Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity,' she wrote.

In response, Sachin Tendulkar who is the Goodwill Ambassador of Indian Olympics Association (IOA) opined: 'When the results don't go your way, that is when you need to support them. Representing your country at the World's biggest event isn't a joke. Indian Athletes have given their best to win medals'.



Even Kangana Ranaut found Shobha De's remark very disturbing and unfair to treat the Athletes who were representing the country that way. She only wished Indian Athletes don't get disheartened by such senseless comments.

Shobha De is yet to apologize for being so rude. Which means, she has no such intention what-so-ever.
