Hyd & Visakha among India's Top 10 Richest Cities

Hello Travel has unveiled the list of Top 10 Richest Cities in India. Interestingly, Two out of them were from Telugu States.

1) Mumbai: GDP - $209 billion. World's 2nd Best Populous City (1.3 crore population). 20% of Tax collected on Exports in India is from this City. Country's Major contributor of Employment (10%) in Industrial Sector.

2) Delhi: GDP - $167 billion. Dominates in Retail Market & Attracts FDIs. Performs well in IT, Hotelss, Banking, Media and Tourism.



3) Kolkata: GDP - $150 billion. It have a population of over 50 lakhs. Only City to have International Airport in East India.

4) Bengaluru: GDP - $83 billion. Known to be India's IT Hub and Silicon Valley of India.

5) Hyderabad: GDP - $74 billion. World's biggest film city (Ramoji Film City), IT, Pharma, Industries and Tourism.

6) Chennai: GDP - $66 billion. Automobile, IT, Medical Tourism and Export of Electronics.

7) Ahmedabad: GDP - $64 billion. Pharmaceuticals & Exports of gems & jewellery.

8) Pune: GDP - $48 billion. IT, Automobile and Food Processing.

9) Surat: GDP - $57 billion. Its known as World's Diamond Hub. Textiles, Printing Mills and Powerlooms.

10) Visakhapatnam: GDP - $26 billion. Shipyard, Exports and IT.
