Top Hero rejects India's Costliest Film

It is known that Tamil Director Sundar C is mulling to make a historical drama titled as 'Sanghamitra' with Rs 350 crore budget. Script Work is done, All the Technicians were finalized and now Makers have focussed on the Casting. Suriya, Vijay and Mahesh Babu are the names under consideration for the lead role in this Magnum Opus.

However, Kollywood Sources confirm that Vijay has turned down 'Sanghamitra' citing date issues. Even though he liked the script, Vijay isn't ready to allot 250 days call sheet for the project. May be, Failure of 'Puli' made him realize that he isn't fit for such subjects.



Vijay is currently working under Bharathan's Direction and Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead. His next venture will be most likely to be helmed by Atlee of 'Raja Rani' and 'Police' fame.

A high budget venture like 'Sanghamitra' need a Top Star to recover the investment. Will one among Suriya and Mahesh Babu sign the project?
