TDP MP Galla Jaydev on Tuesday expressed displeasure over the lack of commitment for Modi Government to granted Special Category Status for AP. 'We lost our patience waiting for Centre to accord Special Status. Centre is mulling announce Special Package instead of Special Status,' he said while speaking to media in the Parliament premises.

The Guntur MP told TDP would welcome anyone, including YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, who fights for Special Status. He says AP Government would continue to pressurize Centre for fulfilling all the poll promises.



TDP MP Ravindra Babu made few interesting comments during the debate on GST Bill in Lok Sabha. 'One Nation - One Tax. I thank PM, Finance Minister & Parliament for proven India is One. We supported the Bill inspite of Rs 6,800 crore loss to AP. I got the opportunity to speak on Special Status for the first tim after becoming an MP. We want Special Status. We supported GST Bill, Now You need to grant Special Status. If we go to our constituencies, People would ask why we have supported GST when Special Status wasn't granted. We are expecting a positive reply by the end of this week. You are already made a promise,' says the Ruling Party Leader.
