When Krishna Vamsi differed with Mahesh Babu?

Marriage Song 'Alanati Ramachandrudu..' from 'Murari' is a trend setter. It will certainly find a place in the Top 50 songs of Telugu Film Industry and could also be the best one in the past two decades.

In his recent interview, Krishna Vamsi revealed the untold story behind the most lovable song. 'The last song 'Alanati Ramachandrudu..' in 'Murari' has led to creative differences. Usually, A Mass Song would be placed before Climax and that's the trend followed from 20 years. Even for 'Murari', Hero, Producer and All the Unit Members rooted for a Mass Number. But, I was adamant on inclusion of a Marriage song. Nobody was there to support my Decision and they kept saying 'Pelli Song Enti?'. It did hurt my feelings to an extent that I asked Producer to film the Mass Song with the Director & Choreographer of their choice. I even offered to issue a No-Objection Letter and asked the Makers to remove my name from Title Credits as well. They, however, disapproved my decision. Then, I suggested them to choose one of the two paths. I don't know if its Arrogance or Confidence on my judgement. Finally, I shot the song the way I wanted it to be and it went on to change the structure of our Weddings,' shares the Creative Genius.



At times, One has to trust the gut feel of the Director and that too if its someone like Krishna Vamsi. Not just Mahesh, Entire unit of 'Murari' will be proud of 'Alanati Ramachandrudu' all their lives.
