The World famous 'Burj Khalifa' in Dubai turns Pink. That was a rare sight and its like a visual feast for eyes.

On Thursday, Burj Khalifa was lit up in pink to create awareness about breast cancer and by then raise funds for it. The pink lights will be flashed on Friday and Saturday too. This practice will be continued for the next two weeks to mark 'Pink October'. A Pink dress-code has been set for Visitors of the tallest structure in the World (829.8 metres).



One Dirham ($0.27) of every single item sold in the shops of Burj Khalifa for the whole month of October will go towards Al-Jalila Foundation. Dubai-ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashed Al-Maktoum has founded this charity for research on breast cancer, its early-detection and treatment.
