Britain's First Baby of 2017 is of Indian Origin

Who would have expected an Indian Origin Woman to be the first to deliver baby in a country like Britain? This has really happened in this calendar year!

Bharti Devi, an Indian origin woman, gave birth to a baby girl at 12.01 AM on January 1st. Actually, The delivery was supposed to happen 5 days earlier. But, the labor kept extended and finally the child was born on New Year Day.

The 35-Year-Old Woman claims she was excited to know her child was the first baby born in Britain in the year 2017. 'It's a special feeling to have. It will be very special thing to tell her about it when she is grown up,' says an excited Mother.

Bharti Devi was married to Ashwani Kumar. The couple already has a two-year-old son. They live at Handsworth in Birmingham.
