A Fisherman caught an Alligator Gar, which is actually a fish that resembles a Crocodile, during the fishing process at the Subhad Sarovar in Kolkata. This unusual fish is 3.5 feet long and its sharp teeth is scary to watch.

Experts fear such a fish could destroy the eco-system and bio-diversity as it is capable of killing any other fish.

Usually, Alligator Gars could be found in USA. There were even reports of their existence in Telugu States, AP & T. It is the largest among the seven species and have the history of even attacking human beings. Even this fish's eggs were poisonous.



Normally, Alligator Gars are imported from other Countries to place in aquariums. When they start eating other fishes and keep growing big, Owners release them in the local water bodies.
