Bollywood is recently being targeted for going in opposite direction from natural and real looks, when they are into making of historical films. The last blow was to Bajirao Mastani from Marathi state for wrong portrayal of the royal ladies and their sleazy dances.
Well, there is a fresh one for Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, for many things and particularly for Pooja Hegde’s look. An aspiring archaeologist Ruchuka Sharma came down heavily on Mohenjodaro makers for presenting Harappan civilization completely awful and away from origin when they showed Pooja Hegde in blue dress with feathers in head accessories.

The archaeologist stresses that Harappan people were of dark complexion and Pooja was shown in fair complexion, just because Bollywood is obsessed with beauty and fairness, giving no concern to reality. As per her, half of the signs shown in the backgrounds of Mohenjodaro posters and teaser were not from Harappan pictography, but from hierogylphs, an Egyptian literature. Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjodaro is a historical period drama made out of huge money and his ignorance in facts is being blamed right from first look. Lets see how he reacts on this criticism, straight from archaeologists!
