YSR Congress now describes TDP & its alliance partner BJP as 'Twin Brothers'. The Main Opposition throws entire blame on denial of Special Category Status to AP on the State and Central Government.

Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao's Private Members Bill was rejected in the Upper House on technical grounds. This time, TDP is getting ready to move a Private Members Bill on its own.

Responding on the latest development, YCP Leader K Pardhasaradhi opined neither TDP nor BJP have been sincere on according Special Category Status. He went on to say that Private Members Bill is nothing but an eye-wash act and the ruling party is only giving scope for further delay. He questions, 'What's the need for a Private Member's Bill or Debate or Voting after the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh declared in Rajya Sabha that AP will be accorded with Special Status for 5 years? While BJP promised to extend it for 10 years, TDP demanded for increase up to 15 years'.
