MLA proposes Bharat Ratna for Rajinikanth

A BJP MLA came up with the proposal of conferring Rajinikanth with Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian honor of the country.

BJP Legislator Anil Gote appealed Maharashtra Government to present 'Maharashtra Bhushan', state's highest honour, to Rajinikanth. He also wants Legislative Assembly to pass a resolution recommending the name of Thalaivar to Centre for Bharat Ratna honour.

Describing him as a demi-God, Anil Gote opined that the stature of Superstar is unmatchable in Indian Cinema. Will Maharashtra Government take the proposal seriously?



On the other hand, 'Kabali' is continuing its dream run in all the Tamil-dominant circuits. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu claims 'Kabali' shattered all the opening records in past 100 years of Indian Cinema and these were the most memorable days of his life.
