CBN & Balayya hurt with Sastry's Demise

Well known Poet & Historian Puchha Vasudev Parabrahma Sastry, popularly known as PV Parabrahma Sastry, passed away at the age of 96 on Wednesday due to prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son.

PV Prabrahma Sastry who worked in the Archaeology Department in United AP got retired when he was holding the rank of a Deputy Director.

Chief Ministers of Telugu States expressed condolences to the family members of PV Parabrahma Sastry. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu opined he will remain in the History. 'It was because of PV Parabrahma Saastry, The World came to know about the history of Sathavahana Rulers and Kakatiya Dynasty,' he told.



Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna claims to be deeply hurt to hear about the news of PV Parabrahma Sastry's demise. He told Sastry's research and books were priceless, will be remembered as someone who love Telugu Language, Culture & Traditions. On behalf of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' unit, He expressed condolences to the family members.

Parabrahma Sastry is a native of Pedda Konduru in Guntur district. His ancestors had settled in Hyderabad.
