KCR's Next Target - Olympics!

India is bidding for hosting the 2028 Olympics with the sole aim of improving the brand image of the Nation. In case if India wins the bidding, Then Telangana Government wishes to host at least a handful of events in Hyderabad.

KCR took the call to send a 4-member team to Brazil in August this year to study the manner in which Rio Olympics were organized. Former IAS Officers BV Papa Rao & K Bhoopal Reddy, Tourism Secretary Burra Venkatesham and Sports Authority of Telangana MD Dinakar Babu will be touring Brazil on behalf of the state government. This Team will also be visiting all the stadiums and sports villages in Brazil.



If India succeeds in bidding, Nation's capital New Delhi is most likely to be made the host city for Olympics 2028. Telangana wants to be only next to Delhi in the list of no. of events hosted by Indian Cities.
