Virat Kohli emerged as the only Indian skipper to hit a Double Century in an Overseas Test. He achieved this feat on the second day of first Test Match against West Indies.

The Indian Captain scored exactly 200 runs in 283 balls and got out in the bowling of Gabriel. There were 24 boundaries in his innings.

The previous best for an Indian skipper in an Overseas Test was 192 runs by Mohammad Azharuddin against New Zealand in 1990.



This is also the first ever double ton of career in Kohli's career. His previous best was 169 runs in the fourth test against Australia in Melbourne in 2014.

Inspite of playing 247 Tests abroad, No Indian Skipper has crossed 200-run mark till Yesterday. That's how Kohli ended 84 years wait!
