After formation of new Governments in Telugu States, Comparisons were drawn between Chief Ministers in every aspect, be it leadership qualities, administration skills, welfare & developments schemes, poll promises and financial aspects.
Coming to the salaries of CMs and MLAs of Telugu States, One can easily notice the vast differences. Telangana CM and MLAs were getting paid almost double to that of their AP Counterparts.
While AP CM receives a Monthly Salary of Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand, MLAs in the state were paid Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand. Whereas, Telangana Chief Minister and its MLAs were pocketing Rs 4.21 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh respectively.
This comparison is more than enough to show how much Telangana benefitted and the heavy price AP has paid with bifurcation.
