Tamil Media shocks Ganta Srinivasa Rao | Andhra news daily

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao was annoyed by the questions of Tamil Media during his visit to Chennai for offering Krishna Pushkaram invitations to prominent personalities on behalf of State Government. He appeared to be clueless for 20 minutes and tried his best to maintain composure.

As many as 30 Workers from Tamil Nadu were arrested by AP Police at Renigunta. Cops took them into custody even though they claimed to have come for the darshan of Tirumala Balaji. Tamil Nadu Parties and People expressed their displeasure over the kind of treatment and sought immediate release of them. Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha and DMK Chief Karunanidhi have penned letters to AP CM Chandrababu over this issue.



Ganta Srinivasa Rao paid the price for landing in Tamil Nadu when the relations between both the Governments weren't good enough. Media questioned the AP Minister for 20 Minutes. He was asked on what charges the 30 Tamilians were arrested and also regarding the increase of Polaru Check Dam height. Ganta left the spot in a hurry after saying he isn't the right person to answer such questions. Even Karunanidhi asked Ganta about these issues when he met him to offer the invitation. Needless to say that AP Minister was shell shocked with these unexpected developments.
