Baahubali 2 USA Rights sold for unheard price | Andhra news daily

Great India Films bagged the North America theatrical rights of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' for a staggering Rs 40 crore on Minimum Guarantee (MG) basis. An official confirmation from the makers is awaited.

In USA/Canada, 'Baabubali: The Beginning' collected over $6 Million (Gross - Rs 53 crore approx, Share: 34 crore approx). Going by these figures, Great India Films bought the rights of Part 2 for more than what Part 1 collected in its full run.



Neverthless, Neither the USA Distributor nor Exhibitors were worried about the sky-high price. They believe in the Box Office stamina of SS Rajamouli and moving forward with a gut feel of 'risk fetches profits'.
