Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann faced severe criticism from fellow MPs cutting across party lines for allegedly live streaming Parliament proceedings on Facebook. Lawmakers called it as a security breach that should be dealt very seriously.

BJP & Opposition MLAs demanded that AAP MP Bhagwant Mann be penalized for Parliament live-stream video. They referred to the terror attack on Parliament in 2001 while condemning the act of the MP from Punjab and suspected it might be an attempt to reveal internal details to anti-national elements.



Bhagwant Mann, a well-known standup comedian, issued an unconditional apology. He claimed to have never expected it to create such as big storm and was just trying to give a glimpse of how Parliament functions for the people of his consttuency.

Speaker Sumitra Natarajan, however, maintained that a committee would be constituted to look into the matter. She added, There will be focus on the complaints on AAP MP's drinkng issue.

In the 12 minute footage, Bhagwant Mann offers a running commentary when his SUV crosses the security-check points in Parliament premises. There after, He enters the room where Zero Hour queries are being selected and explains the process.
