Have you ever heard of an Airplane Restaurant? A Chinese Businessman now owns the first restaurant of such kind.

In May last year, Businessman Li Liang acquired an old Boeing 737 Aircraft from the Indonesian Airline Batavia Air. It took him 6 months to complete the Custom Procedures and obtain Business License. For transporting the aircraft into China from Indonesia, It has been disassembled for 8 times during the four months journey. The parts of the aircraft were placed in nearly 70 containers for the shipping process. While the Boeing 737 was bought for 5 million yuan ($5.28 million), Mr. Li Liang spent another 3 million yuan ($452,325) just for delivery in multiple phases. That's how one of World's expensive restaurants has been established at the Optics Valley Pedestrian Street in Wuhan, China!

The cabin area of Boeing 737 has been used as a Restaurant. Whereas, Cockpit has been remodeled into a flying simulator for giving its customers an experience of flying a passenger jet.

For Dinner at Lily Airways restaurant, Each person would be charged 200 to 300 yuan ($30 to $45). Entering the Cockpit would cost even more, 300 to 400 yuan ($45 to $60). It might be expensive but can't complain due to the once-in-a-lifetime experience it offers.
